Today was a pretty no frills day. I woke up and left out to get my hair done. I decided to try this Dominican Salon down here called Jaselvis. It was an interesting experience. I got my natural hair washed, deep conditioned, rollerset and then blown out. I was there from 11-1:35 which is a pretty long time for me considering my two strands take 2 hours and a press takes an hour and half. Anyway I did like how my hair looks but I don't know id I will go back since the price is comparable to my regular spot. Here are the resultsPosted by Hello I didn't know my hair had grown that much. That is waaaay longer then what it was at graduation the beginning of May. Anyway after that I stopped at the Jamaican spot next door and got me a pattie, coco bread and cola champagne and headed home.

Later this evening I hung with the wild ones (my nephews and niece) for a few hours until they had to go to the hospital to see their uncle. They are sooo grown up Cierra is in the 3rd grade, Jaylen in the 5th and my main man Jordan he claims he's in pre-k (he's only two). I went over to take Jaylen some balloons and cupcakes (we do that for all the kids birthday's) he turned 10 last week but went to florida the same day so we didn't get to celebrate like we did with his little sister and brother. They were quite entertaining though I do love those characters.

After leaving there I came in and talked to Jovonne on the phone a good 2 hours. We haven't talked in a minute. Life has been hectic and personal stuff prevented us from hanging but we are going to try and hit up somewhere tomorrow, a cookout on Sunday and then the Congressional Black Caucus party next weekend thrown by the Ques. Like I said today was an okay day nothing to exciting. But Im going to try and hit the hay... I have a photo shoot in the AM. Should be very interesting
