my week

I haven't written on this one in a minute. But not to much is going on in the daily life. Today was a blah day nothing exciting... got up, went out, did some work, came back home, slept, made a great dinner (homemade parmesan crusted chicken and bowtie pasta) and then went to church for a meeting. I was at church forever and a day (4 hours) helping with the planning of Family Fun Night and this event we have coming up Saturday. I was talking to this lady who is in the special events ministry with me about how I'm looking for a new job and she said her office has some openings in pr/public affairs. She told me to email her my resume and cover letter and she'll print it out on stock for me and pass it around and tell everyone how fabulous I am. So wish me luck. Gotta love the church folks. *smile*

I'm really amped up about the weekend and it's just Thursday. Friday during the day is "Fun Fun Day" as my baby nephew calls it. Me and my nephews (10 & 2) , my niece (8) and my sister are going to Chuck E. Cheese's and to see "Shark Tale." I had been looking for an excuse to see this movie, so when my sister was like since the kids have no school Friday I'm taking off and we are going to see it you know I jumped all over the opportunity. I am a sucker for animated movies lol.

Because I know the day on Friday might bring a little stress my cousin and I are going to Coyote Ugly Friday night. Yes like in the movie. I've been there before and it's a wild atmosphere. I haven't partied with the "pale" people since Syracuse so it's going to be a fun night. And the alcohol... whew I might have to leave that alone because I might have to sleep balled up in a knot haha j/k.

Saturday morning I might head on out to Eastern Market. I got this fabulous red glass beaded necklace from there last week and everyone has been complimenting me on it so I might go get some more jewelry and this bag that I absolutely loved.

Saturday evening is the banquet at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center. It should be a lovely evening. I have to get there early and help decorate and then work as a hostess. A couple of the other ladies on the special events team are staying the night and are having a slumber party and doing brunch on Sunday since we got a free suite . I was thinking about getting my own room since we got a decent group rate. But what's the point since it would just be me in there. So I'll probably hang with the ladies a bit and decide once I get there if I'm going to stay with them or not.

Should be a fun and exciting rest of the week and weekend.

I am off to bed now........
