wonderful wednesday
Today is a really good day. I woke up to a call from my mommy I haven't talked to her in a while and now shes wrapping up her travels island hopping with my aunts and my granny so I'm sure they are being a wild bunch. I had some tea and fell back asleep only to be awaken by my sister caling me to tell me about the latest crazy thing my nephew is doing in his terrible two's stage (he sprayed bleach on his older sister and brothers uniform). After all the calls I decided to just get up and head out of the house to get my errands done early in the day.
So for the last few weeks I've been walking aroung like a bush woman trying to regrow my eyebrows since this gay asian guy overwaxed them and had me looking like a shocked drag queen. I've been plucking them myself a little so I wouldn't have like a bar of hair on my face and since I own the best tweezers in the world I might as well have used them. But anyway I remember one day when I was getting my hair done and a facial at bnatural in Bowie that there was a lady there that did threading and waxing and all that good stuff. So I went in there and she was free and let me tell you I am in live with Rosa. I will never let another gay asian man touch my brows again. After leaving NY I thought I'd never find someone who could match doing my brows like Julie at Eurospa. I was sooo happy. Now all I wish for is someone to give me a cut like Deion at Time Salon in Brooklyn. I wanted to cry so bad when I was reading Suede Magazine and on page 86 this girl was saying how she loved her stylist and then she said it was Deion, MY Deion who gave me the best and flyest hair cut of my life *le sigh* oh well. Guess I'll have to do like I used to and get my hair done everytime I go to NY.
So I met this guy a while ago and I kept promising him (for like 3 months) I'd have lunch with him. He seemed okay when we originally met and since the situation was awkward when he asked for my number (he asked in front of like 10 people and they all looked at me waiting for an answer) I ended up giving it to him even though I wasn't feeling him 100 percent. So to make a long story short I was in Annapolis not far from where he worked and he always says how if I'm in Annapolis give him a call blah blah blah... so I called him since I was hungry and killing time. We went to this little sushi spot that I love and won't waste on such a lame person the next time. I mean I love the hell out a smart man. Intelligence is sexy as hell to me but don't be smart and dull. It was a looong lunch or at least it felt that way I had a nice sashimi and sushi combo and he got a grilled chicken pita. Thats like going to a fancy french spot and ordering a grilled cheese or a b.l.t lmao.
Now I'm in here actuall doing some work. I've done a newsletter today and some writing. Now I have some proofreading and editing to do and then off to dinner at Lebanese Taverna... this is a nice little date spot to bad i'm going with some girls lol
