another tuesday
I'm here at Tryst been here about an hour. I'm supposed to be filling out job apps but I've been surfing the net and now I am writing in the blog. The weekend was a lot of fun friday I had my job interview which went well. The firm seems pretty cool and laid back and stressed excellence in working. The only thing was the hours (8:30-6) thats a lond ass day l0l.
Friday night was chill my mom went out of town earlier in the day so I got some grub from this restaurant and came in and stuffed my face and watched kill bill 2. I thought I was going to go to sleep early but my friend calls me and tells me that he is bored. Instead of evil coming out I was nice and told him he could come over and hang out as long as he didn't stay long since I had to be up early. Mistake. We had this convo at 11:50 meaning it was already late and bythe time he got over to my place it was 1am. So we talked like an hour or so and then decide to watch love jones. We had fun watching the movie and then both passed out asleep on the floor at like 4 and I had to be somewhere at 8. Not good. He gets up to leave at 6 and then I I wake up at 7:45 and run and get dressdd and leave the house in record time.
I had new members class all Saturday morning so now I am officially a member of Zion Church. After that I came home and cooked and got ready for my cousin to come. My aunt uncle and cousin came and we helped move herin. Shes staying with at my ouse for a few months while she does a cool internship in DC. That night we (me, my cousin, and my girl Jovonne) went to the DCQues CBC party at the Renaissance downtown, the party was alot of fun and was a cool way to start off her stay in DC.
Sunday was basically a chill day. Me, my mom, aunt, uncle, and cousin took the metro to DC to show her and see where her office was and how to ride the train. We then went to visit my great uncle who is 103. He is a cool guy and it's amazing how he remembers so much.
Monday was blah. didnt do a thing but catch up on all the sleep I didnt get the past 5 days.
Today I'm here at Tryst. Working on applications and some other stuff I need to catch up on and tonight I'll probably head to DSW to get some shoes for this step show I'm supposed to go to at VCU.
