Day of epiphany's and fun....

Okay so today was actually pretty festive and productive. I worked and then worked out and then met with the circle of friends.

The workout today was pretty crucial for some reason. I was just on overdrive and I seriously worked out. Sometimes sweat is sexy but this wasn't at all lol.. I am just grateful for showers lol. Once I got home I was really sore, not just sore muscle wise but was straight aching in the pubic bone lol. The last time I felt like that was after some real good um, well yeah so anyway the time before that when I felt pain like that I had been horseback riding. So I was trying to figure out what I did so different. Then then ding ding bells went off. I rode that damn stationary bike. Man that thing will mess you up (I don't see how men can do it)... never again lol.

So anyway this evening I convinced some of the the circle to come with me to this spot Rhino Bar and Pumphouse in Georgetown. This isn't a normal hang out for me but it is the SU in DC official game watching site and I wanted to catch some of the game between the Orange and Oklahoma. So I told them there would be men and 25 cent chicken and they were game lol. Since we aren't beer drinkers we decided to go to Tryst first for drinks.

I was soo happy once I got my stun gun (my fave drink) and we ended up ordering a cheese plate, a pastry plate and a dip plate and ate and talked way longer then we were supposed to there. But I needed it. We laughed and bitched and the single chicks were talking about how either we love it or how dating sucks, the involved chick misses dating and the and the married chick laughed at us all lol. Then epiphany two came (first one was never ride the bike again lol) and I realized that a lot of the stuff I claim I want I really don't need at the moment (like some things mentioned in yesterdays entry). So I'm just going to savor the experiences and opportunities that are in front of me. As long as it's safe, wont going kill me and my conscious won't eat me alive I'm going to enjoy it. But with that said there are also some people and things that I need to rid from my life as well so that I can really enjoy the ride.

So anyway after missing tip off and a small portion of the first half we get to Rhino. It was a lot of fun. So we mixed and mingled, watched a poker tournament they had, ate some chicken, drank like men, watched the game, screamed like idiots at the game, listened to this drunk white guy discuss the "beauty of cunnilingus and fellatio," finished the game out and overall had too much fun for our own good.

Now as far as the game Gerry, Josh and Hakim needed to step it up. I tutored y'all last year, now can y'all win me a game please. At the free throw line you guys made my stomach hurt. Gerry I know you tried but try harder. Last year I was in the dome all the time watching nothing but net. I mean I came out the house with some orange on for y'all and everything and you can't give me a win. I know what you guys will be doing tomorrow though... shooting free throws in Manley, in the Dome, across the quad and on Comstock lol. But umm Oklahoma yeah who knew y'all had so many black people lol j/k and umm Stephen Graham if I come to campus can you and Joey give me a tour lol. I thought I was on some stuff seeing double but in fact it's twins on the same team woooosah.

I sooo needed this evening. I think I may go back to Tryst tomorrow for Jazz night @ 8.... the next game at Rhino's is next Saturday... cheap liquor and 25 cent wings hmmm. All are welcome to attend *smile*
