not alot

has been going on. I've just been super busy with the new job and planning events and such. Work is really exciting I'm doing everything from media releases, to interviews at tv stations, to speech writing. I always used to aspire to be a speech writer because of the money and such but it's really hard. Trying to put yourself in the other persons shoes and speak in their voice is hard, it's even more difficult when you have to do it for several people and even harder when a 60 year old man is getting praised for how eloquently he speaks when in reality his "voice" is really a 23 year old black woman. But such is life. I have a huge event monday that I can not wait to be over. It's going to be good but it has been consuming my time 8 hours a day for the past few weeks.

But on to more exciting things. Tomorrow is my birthday!!!! Yaaay I'm turning 24 and I think it's great. Every year on earth is such a belessing so I'm grateful. Tomorrow night I'm doing a small gathering with friends at Cafe.Asia and then going out to some club or something ( I didn't make the plans my job is to show up and be cute). Saturday is busy too I need to go to the Folk.Life Festival and see my old co-workers and then I have a cookout/groomal (a sort of coed bachelor party but more of a shower but we dont want to call it that since he's a man for my frat brother/church member/event team partner Chris) at my other friend Ed's house. I havent decided if I'm going to stay the duration of that or go out yet again Sat night and shake a tailfeather. Either way Sunday morning all my family is coming to church with me and then birthday brunch with my mommy, sister, brother in law, niece and nephews.

I will be looking forward to Sunday night because I got a nice room at the Wynd.ham in Baltimore on the Harbour so that I can be at my event bright and early monday.
