it's a good day
today was such a long day (sort of). I woke up to my phone ringing and ended up getting up out the bed and talking to my sister for an hour on the phone. After that I had to go take my drug test for my new job and then on a tour of this new womens only gym they opened near my house (I think I may start going there just for the steam room and aquamassage room). This evening I went to see the pedicure guru Vinny (see my other blog). The guru was sick the last time I went so some lady did my feet but today he was the bomb. I went in at 3:15 left out at 4:45 and there was no waiting period I'm talking eucalyptus soak, salt scrub, cream massage, then oil massage, then hotstone massage, then a parafin dip and the other regular pedicure stuff. I was so in bliss and then to make things better mom paid for it as my "easter gift" wooohooooo.
After there I did my regular weekly tutoring with my niece. Since tutoring her shes gone from a low B to an A in math and is actually ahead of her class. Tutoring her is fun though I used to rarely see them (her and her brothers) and now I'm over there once a week and I get a free dinner and pocket change out the deal. After tutoring my sister suckered me, she pulled the "since Aunt Chrissy is over here why don't you guys have her help you dye your easter eggs" trick. I was purposely done with tutoring at 7:15 so I could come home wash and set my hair and chill and talk to D on the phone the rest of the night. But plans changed and we had fun, so the hair won't get set until Saturday which may be better anyway since I may be going to a bruh party tomorrowafter my celebration (for getting a new job) dinner with mom and sister and service at church.
So I spent the rest of the evening talking to D on the phone (we haven't talked allllll week) and eating the new baked cheetoes (which were actually good). Now I need to get in my ever so needed workout at one am (looks like it will be pilates and ball exercises tonight and go to bed.
In case I don't get back on here this weekend have a blessed weekend. If you are traveling be safe and have a blessed ressurection Sunday.
Also if you are looking for a fun place to worship on Easter come to E-Fest hosted by my church (Zion Church) but it will be held at First.Baptist.Church.Glenarden this Sunday (Easter) at 9 and 11 am. There is going to be a play, dancing, music, and exciting word and most importantly I'm singing! *smile*
