I need a rest

I haven't been doing much writing there have been ALOT of things going on in my life lately and I've been busy. I'm also struggling using my old computer from undergrad since my baby (my laptop) is in the hospital.

I used to complain about not having anything to do now I feel like I do too much during the weekend lol... Friday night I met up with my old bestfriend (who I have now reconnected with) and some of her friends from college and we all went out to dinner. I had a lot of fun and it was cool to hang out with a different set of young women. A few of the girls there I did know because they are in our dinner club (we go to two restaurants a month and try out different cuisines and its basically food fun and socializing). After dinner we (about seven of us) headed to Jillians. Why we did that I don't know... oh I remember to crack on people and have some laughs and be assy. That was a very interesting experience and I will leave it at that.

Saturday I went to an absolutely gorgeous wedding. The groom talked about how he wrote a song about four years ago and said he'd sing it to the woman he married and today he sang the song to her and it was absolutely beautiful. After the wedding a bunch of people from this event planning team that I'm on went to the movies and then to dinner at the Stonefish Grill... the food was great but the service had a lot to be desire but I'll give it a second chance because I was in a party of 18 so I'm sure that had to be tough to cater to. After dinner and the movie I spent the rest of the evening hanging out with/talking on the phone with D.

Sunday morning was spent at Zion Church and then in the afternoon met up with another set of ladies and about 12 of us headed to Lau.riol Plaza . The place is famous for their margaritas (which I couldn't have since I can't drink) and the food was just as good as (actually better) then their sister restaurant Cac.tus Cantina. Sunday night was spent talking on the phone and baking cookies (for my buddy D) and reading.

It's been an absolutely fabulous but busy weekend.

Since I'm always going out and trying new restaurants and going to events I am doing a new blog that is kind of a test blog for an exciting project I'm working on so check out SocialButterflyy... it will be restaurant reviews info about upcoming events and other social kind of things *smile*
